Peter Hall’s production of Bedroom Farce, one of Ayckbourn’s best loved works, opened to critical acclaim at the Rose Theatre in Kingston last year. This summer the ‘deliciously funny’ comedy will be coming to Leeds Grand following a fourteen week run in London’s West End.
Emmy award-winning actress Juliet Mills leads an all-star cast; her prolific career includes 'Wild at Heart', 'Oh! What a Lovely War', 'The Elephant Man' and Billy Wilder’s 'Avanti!' which saw her nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress. Joining her is Hollywood husband Maxwell Caulfield best known for his starring roles in 'Dynasty', 'The Colbys', 'Grease 2' and most recently 'Emmerdale', in which he played smooth-talking millionaire Mark Wylde whose dramatic dmise sparked on of the biggest storylines of last year.
The glittering cast also features Bruce Montague, renowned TV and theatre actor whose credits include Leonard in Carla Lane’s 'Butterflies', 'Keeping Up Appearances', 'Doctors', 'Oliver' at the London Palladium and 'Phantom of the Opera' at Her Majesty’s Theatre; Clare Wilkie, soap regular who played Sandra Di Marco in 'Eastenders', Oliver Boot, a prolific theatre actor whose TV credits include 'Holby City', 'Two Pints Of Lager And a Packet Of Crisps and 'Hotel Babylon' and Julia Mallam and Ayden Callaghan who are best known for their roles as Dawn Woods and Miles De Souza respectively in ITV’s 'Emmerdale.'
