RUSALKA
Antonín Dvorák
Dvorák’s opera, which follows a similar story to Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, is a tale of innocence and experience, disappointment and the transcendent power of love. The hauntingly beautiful score is famed for Rusalka’s poignant ‘Song to the Moon’, and Olivia Fuchs’s production is altogether a spell-binding experience.
