Board member with Marketing and Communication skills

Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House Ltd is now inviting expressions of interest to join its Board of Directors.
The Company, which manages the Leeds Grand Theatre, City Varieties Music Hall and Hyde Park Picture House, is undergoing an extensive period of change and requires new Board members to provide strategic oversight on the company’s plans and to support and challenge the management team in its delivery of key aspects of the business needs.
Applicants should have an awareness and understanding of the responsibilities and commitment required in charity governance as well as an ability to contribute to the strategic decision-making process.
We are currently seeking a Board member with Marketing and Communication skills.
Applicants should have substantial, recent experience in "business to consumer" marketing and communications at a strategic level. Applicants should be up to date with the latest trends and developments in digital and social platforms and the shift in consumer behaviour this has brought along with understanding and experience of managing pricing to both maximise income and increase access.
